The Practicing Herbalist – with 7song
This class will be about honing useful clinical skills for herbalists. It is for anyone, not only those in practice, who work with herbal medicine. We will cover some of the considerations specific to herbalism.
Discussion will focus on practical clinical skills including intake, setting up treatment protocols, diagnostic and counseling skills, patient compliance and some specific herbal remedies. We will go through case histories to help make the information applicable. There will be ample time for questions and also a look at my work at the Ithaca Free Clinic. Register online
Bio: 7Song is a clinical herbalist, botanist, and nature devotee. He is the director and main teacher at the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine in Ithaca, NY. He also practices at the Ithaca Free Clinic, a mixed modality free clinic offering holistic and conventional medicine.
